Love our schoolhouse light!This light is the perfect size and proportion for the ceiling fan we bought. it is unobtrusive but warm and vintage-looking without being obviously from some kind of ye olde collection. just the look we wanted. and it is very well priced for this kind of item; energy-efficient light kits are really hard to find at any kind of decent price! i'll definitely be back for more when we remodel the remaining rooms!

WC-11 is an excellent alternative for hunter 27182The WC-11 switch is high quality. It says 3 speed fan control, but it actually has 4 speeds. Full range dimmer too. I had the hunter fan control 27182 for all 4 of my Hunter fans. Those switches broke multiple times during normal use. Over 3 years time I have replaced my 27182 switches due to knobs breaking off and cracking. This royal pacific WC-11 switch has the slider knobs in a groove so the knobs don't fall off and break repeatedly. If only Hunter could get this switch in their product lineup, would a Hunter switch be a good value. Love the Hunter fans though! Now, this switch says it's a 3 wire installation, but it actually has 4 wires. Not a problem though. 4th wire is a ground wire which is not necessary if the fan itself is grounded. If you currently have the 27182 Hunter switch already installed on your fan(s) then it is grounded already. Just cut the ground wire off, or you may need to put the ground wire from the WC-11 switch to the box, but probably not. Great value.
